Vesemir and Geralt bury Eskel, and Geralt uses Ciri to track the Leshy, leading them to a new monster called the Myriapod. Yennefer returns to Aretuza, only to be met with suspicion from the Brotherhood, especially Stregebor. To prove her loyalty, she must kill the Nilfgaardian prisoner, Cahir, but at the last minute, she escapes with him instead.
