Kieran bounds along the rooftops, looking highly angry while Lauren looks dead.
He ungraciously deposits her on the ground, and Lauren is too disheartened to do more than catch herself against the wall. Kieran yanks his mask off and yells at her, but Lauren is unresponsive. Kieran slams her arm into the wall and hovers over her, trying to elicit a response. We speculate that he may be worried about her trying to get him arrested.
But Lauren's dead face stops him, and he calms down and asks her again, only to be met again with Lauren's dead face. He stalks off, and Lauren slumps down, completely worn out.
Later that night, while Lauren is standing in front of her vision- cough- murder board, her uncle Tristan tries to get her to go to sleep and drop her obsession. But she can't.
We discuss whether Tristan is sus, the nature of Lauren's obsession and how it may relate to possible PH endings, and the nature and justification or lack thereof of Kieran's confrontation.
Lauren's final words, narrated from the future, have us questioning what the truth turned out to be.
