While sharing information about the Phantom Scythe, Lauren and Kieran engage in both verbal and physical sparring, capable of both sarcasm and open compliments.  

We learn more about and discuss the Phantom Scythe and their motives and motivations (is that the same word?), engaging in our eternal discussion about morality, means, and ends.  

The episode ends with another one of the most crucial lines in the story: "I kill only when I'm ordered to, or if it's the only solution."
