Midnight Poppy Land 79 - Small Town Mind (with Erin and Vita)

Tora and Damien decide to chuck it all and go sleep in the car.  

Unsurprisingly, they have dark eye bags when they decide to wait at a cafe in Moonbright for Poppy.  

Poppy tries not to laugh at the matching tiger t-shirts, which she also has. We note their physical familiarity, and are impressed by Poppy affirming that she accepts Tora as he is, with no need to cover up.  

In short order, Poppy is beset by gossipy neighbors, who tell her that she should have kept Julri since his family is rich (barf) and that she needs to keep her man happy in the kitchen and bed (super barf).  

Poppy gives as good as she gets, and we see that the women may have their reasons for being bitter about their lives.  

Ever diligent, Poppy sorts out Granny's affairs, and Granny apologizes for her manipulation BUT doesn't get a chance to tell Poppy what she wanted to. WHAT IS IT? We are dying of anxiety.  

Poppy is delighted to find that her t-shirt gang is still waiting for her at the cafe, and those warm feelings continue as Tora carefully drives them back home, to the caring watch of Gyu.  

The next day, Tora, having anxiously waited for a text from Poppy for days, decides to join Quincy at the office.   

Quincy talks about their fake bodyguard relationship and Tora's break from clan duties over the last few years.  

Tora walks into the office and Poppy does a double take. Vita theorizes that maybe Granny relayed her information in the interim!
