Midnight Poppy Land 70: It's Woodchipper Time (with Girl Wonder)

After rushing to Moonbright, Poppy is stuck with no money, phone, or way of getting around - whoops. She considers turning to family and friends, but Moonbright is way too small to take those options.

She is finally reminded of her scooter, though, and we finally receive some closure as to what happened to it! She picks it up from Darleen's garage, and we are all delighted to see a reference to our resident thirsty meme maker.

Suddenly, out of the blue, Julri appears. He opens with ostensible concern, but as soon as Poppy demonstrates that she doesn't need him, he launches straight into a personal attack, showing his insecurity and extreme gaslighting. WE ARE GOING TO KILL HIM.

Meanwhile, Tora is on the phone with Quincy, searching for Poppy. We contrast his concern with her emotional well being to Julri's complete lack thereof. While searching, he comes across the place where Goliath went missing. Will he search it now, later?

Back at the garage, Poppy yells back at Julri, with difficulty, but Julri just continues his manipulative half truths, knowing how to wound Poppy where it hurts the most. Poppy's final statement shows how she is really, truly over him, and Julri can't stand that.

We end the scene with Tora's car screeching to a halt at the garage. Are they still there? Will we have the Tora/Julri confrontation so many have wished for, or will Poppy handle it all herself?
