Let's Play 160: Peephole (with Sadie)

Sam wakes up in Charles' arms and goes to take Bowser out for a walk. She wonders why she feels heavier, and we discuss the meaning of the chains dragging behind her.

She spots Marshall being catcalled by some thirsty women, and when she confirms to Marshall that they are no longer watching him, he breaks down, unusued to the physical exercise. Marshall remembers that she was never in good shape due to her poor health, and feels bad, but immediately bounces back and asks Sam how she feels about her new Indigineer score. Sam decides to protect his feelings by pretending she liked it.

They walk back to the apartment together, and Charles, waking up from a nightmare about his ex-wife cheating on him, is perturbed at Sam's absence and even more so when he hers he talking to Marshall. He is about to open the door in a brilliant callback to his trauma, but stops himself. He is bent over when Sam enters, and locks her into a passionate embrace.

We discuss the implications of Charles' character moving forward.
